The Roggebottrail

Change language:

Here you’re walking on land that once was sea. Through herb-rich grasslands, past young forests, and through landscapes that are still developing. What grows here is not only nature, but also a story about Flevoland, about social engineering, and about learning to work together with the land.

Along the route, you will find marked posts guiding your way. At various points, you can scan a QR code to discover more about the history, the trees, the wildlife, and the way this estate continues to evolve. Take your time. Look, listen, and experience.

The route is 3.3 kilometers long and forms a loop. Follow the markings and you will automatically return to the parking lot.
